Dane County deputies looking for AWOL inmate

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Dane County Sheriff's Department is looking for an inmate declared AWOL.

Authorities say 40-year-old Gary Brown of Madison was released from the Public Safety Building Wednesday morning to attend New Beginnings at Bethel Church in Madison. He was scheduled to return at 4:15 p.m., but he did not.

Anyone with information on where Brown may be is asked to call 911.

Brown is serving a four month probation sentence for substantial battery.
