Suspect steals money from Grant County bank

CUBA CITY (WKOW) -- Police in Cuba City are looking for a man they say robbed a bank Friday morning.

Officers say the suspect walked into American Bank just before noon, threw several colored plastic bags on the counter and demanded money. He was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say the suspect did not show a weapon.

No one was hurt.

The Cuba City Police Department released this description of the suspect:

Believed to be a white male
Approximately 5'8" to 5'10" tall
Medium build, approximately 170-200 pounds
Wearing a black coat with dark-colored hooded sweatshirt underneath
Possible white colored t-shirt underneath
A white or light-colored baseball-type cap
An orange face mask or orange facial covering
Wearing blue jeans, black gloves, and tan-colored boots
No glasses
