MADISON (WKOW) -- It's a celebration of suds at the Wisconsin Historical Museum.
On Saturday, the museum hosted David Ryder, chief brewmaster at MillerCoors, as part of its exhibit on the state's beer history.
Ryder traced the history of various styles of beer and the science behind brewing.
He said it's important that people know about what they're drinking.
"Beer is the drink of moderation. It's good for you, when actually drunk in moderation... goes well with food. It's just, the more that people know about beer, the more that people understand that it's a healthy drink," said Ryder.
The exhibit is called "Bottoms Up: A Toast to Wisconsin's Historic Bars and Breweries." It runs through Saturday, March 23 at the Wisconsin Historical Museum. It's open Tuesday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
