GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- The Green Bay Packers are working to preserve wetlands in Wisconsin.
The team is partnering with Ducks Unlimited to support conservation efforts at wildlife refuges in northeast Wisconsin. On Saturday, officials presented a $75,000 donation to one preserve in Green Bay.
"Our support of the community takes many forms and our partnership with D.U. is unique and this project is especially unique," said executive board member John Bergstrom.
Work at the L.H. Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve in Green Bay is set to begin this spring.
