MADISON (WKOW) – Attorney General J. B. Van Hollen has named a high-ranking Milwaukee police officer as the state Division of Criminal Investigations' second-in-command.

Milwaukee Assistant Police Chief Patrick Mitchell will take over as DCI's deputy administrator on Monday and will make $97,000 per year.
