Woman hit by car may have broken leg

MADISON (WKOW) -- In an incident report filed Friday morning, Madison police say a 67-year-old woman suffered a possible broken leg or hip Thursday afternoon when she was hit by a car on the city's east side.

The woman was crossing Atwood Avenue at Ohio Avenue and police say she was in the crosswalk.

The driver of the car, a 20-year old Madison woman, was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian.
