Sexual assault charge for man who grabbed worker

MADISON (WKOW) -- A 61-year-old contractor called Madison police while he was working inside a Whitney Way apartment building Wednesday afternoon.

The man stated a resident grabbed him in the groin two times while he was trying to do his job.  The victim says the first time he was touched, he pushed the other man's hands away and told him to "knock it off".

As the victim continued to work, the suspect, 31-year-old Bernardo Barajas, grabbed the man again.  The victim, this time, pushed Barajas up against a wall and strongly ordered him to keep his hands off.

When an officer made contact, Barajas admitted to making the contacts, at first saying it was accidental.  He later admitted that was not true.

Barajas was arrested on two counts of 4th degree sexual assault.
