
JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- Early Friday morning, Janesville police responded to Lions Quick Mart on E. Racine Street for a hold up alarm.
A subject entered the store and had demanded money. No weapon was displayed. The suspect fled on foot, with an undisclosed amount of money, before officers arrived.
A Rock County Sheriff's deputy was in the area and located the suspect, identified as 25-year-old Nicholas Hughes.
The money taken was recovered. Hughes was being held on a probation hold and arrested for robbery.
