JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- A fire breaks out in Janesville and crews say it's suspicious.
The case has now been referred to the Janesville Police Department. The Janesville Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire on the 100 block of West Delevan Drive about 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
Crews arrived to find a vacant two-story commercial building on fire with flames coming from the second floor. The building was formerly a tavern with apartments above and behind the bar area.
Upon entry they found the building door un-secured and ran into multiple small fires on the way to the second floor room that was burning.
Fire and smoke damage was estimated at $10,000 to the second floor of the structure.
No injuries were reported.
