
DODGE COUNTY (WKOW) – A Wisconsin State Trooper arrested a Beaver Dam man for his 6 OWI offense on Saturday.
The state trooper responded to a pedestrian walking on US Hwy 151 around 10:50 p.m. Authorities identified the man as 48-year-old Salvator J. Vitale.
Upon arrival, the Wisconsin State Trooper found Vitale stumbling, slurring his speech and having an odor of intoxicants. Vitale told officials he was walking to his residence in Beaver Dam.
Authorities found the vehicle Vitale was driving in the right ditch just south of Forest Road on Hwy 151.
The Wisconsin State Trooper subsequently arrested Vitale for a felony OWI.
