Snow Emergencies


BELOIT (WKOW) -- The City of Beloit has declared a Snow Emergency in effect starting Monday at 12:00 a.m. and continuing until Monday at 12:00 p.m.

During a Snow Emergency, the parking or standing of any vehicle on a city street is prohibited. Here is a list of parking lots designated as official areas for off-street parking for residents to park their personal vehicles during the Snow Emergency:

Krueger Park Upper parking lot- East lots only
Krueger Golf Course Lot - South lot between designated signs
Wootten Park - South end between designated signs
Riverside Part Rotary Center - Two center rows between signs
Riverside Park Jones Shelter - All areas
Angel Museum - All areas
Iron Works South Parking lot - West side of lot between signs
4th St. Public Parking - Center island between signs
West Grand Public Parking - Between designated signs
Telfer Park Parking Lot - South East lot between designated signs

The City of Beloit encourages residents to stay home and make only necessary travel with extreme caution.
