Madison residential streets will not be plowed Monday

MADISON (WKOW) -- The City of Madison says it will not plow any residential streets Monday, even though the city received over two inches of snow overnight.

City officials say 30 crews will be out clearing snow and salting the main roads during the day Monday and into the evening. Sand trucks are also working on hills, curves and intersections on residential streets.

The City says it will reevaluate its options Tuesday after more snow is expected to fall. 27 Storm Track meteorologist Brian Olson expects around another inch of accumulation on Tuesday.
