Monona Grove hockey stays alive for Badger North title with 2-1 win over Edgewood

MADISON (WKOW) -- All Madison Edgewood needed was a win Monday night to clinch its third straight Badger North title, instead Monona Grove beat the Crusaders 2-1 at Labahn Arena. The Silver Eagles were up 2-0 after one period, as Zach and Travis Johnston eached scored goals, which ended up being all MG needed. Madison Edgewood is now 7-1 in conference, while Monona Grove is 7-2.
