BURLINGTON (WKOW) -- After a massive 8-alarm fire at an egg processing plant in Burlington last Wednesday, the company says it wants to stay put.
The mayor of Burlington, Bob Miller, says Echo Lake Foods wants to rebuild at their current site.
He says 60% of the plant is still standing and usable.
No timeline has been set for them to be back up and running.
About 300 workers were displaced from the fire.
Officials don't suspect any criminal intent, but they are still investigating the cause of the fire.
