Federal agents find child pornography in Madison home

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Wisconsin Department of Justice(DOJ) announced on Wednesday that federal agents joined state authorities in the search of a Madison home on Tuesday. This followed a hearing on Friday, February 1, where Grant M. Rondorf was charged with 14 counts of Possession of Child Pornography. 

A preliminary hearing in this case is set for 8:30 a.m. Thursday in Dane County Circuit Court.    

According to the Criminal Complaint, the suspect's IP address and email account had been associated with child pornography, and that during an interview at his home, 327 Village Green West, Rondorf admitted to agents he possesses, collects and distributes child pornography. 
 
DOJ says forensic preview of files from a laptop computer and removable storage device, both belonging to Rondorf, uncovered 10 video files and dozens of images consistent with child pornography. 
 
The investigation is part of Operation Predator, a nationwide initiative by Homeland Security Investigations(HSI) to protect children from sexual predators.
