Two more arrested in October 2011 Madison homicide
MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police have announced the arrest of two more suspects in a 2011 homicide case.
A news release from the department says on Wednesday officers arrested, without incident, 25-year-old Anthony Poindexter, of Madison, and 26-year-old Andrew O. Ellis, of Madison. Both are charged with being a party to the 2011 homicide of Jonathan Wilson, who was shot to death.
Police also say they are looking for a 10th suspect in this case, 20-year-old Logan C. Anderson. Police do not know where he is now, but say he at one time lived in Madison.
Anderson is also wanted for being a party to the Wilson homicide. Anyone who knows where Anderson might be should contact Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 266-6014.
The victim in the crime, Wilson, was 20 years old at the time of his death. The Madison man was found inside a car on the 800 block of Troy Drive on October 20, 2011. Police described the scene as very chaotic, with evidence that many rounds had been fired.
On October 25, 2011, police initially arrested four suspects: Demetrius V. Matticx, age 18 at the time, was tentatively charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide. The other three were tentatively charged with being a party to that homicide: Dreyon D. James was 19 at the time, and Jimmy A. Leuaxay and John K. Leauxay were both 18.
The following day, October 26, 2011, police announced they had arrested 20-year-old Shon Hamilton and an unidentified 16-year-old on tentative charges of being a party to the homicide.
On October, 31, 2011, Madison police arrested 18-year-old Myntrell Jarvis on the tentative charge of being a party to the homicide.
