Former Packers cheerleader's response to cyberbullying goes viral

GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- A former Packers cheerleader's response to cyberbullying has gone viral.

On Monday, a Chicago Bears Facebook fan page uploaded a photo of Kaitlyn Collins and it had the caption, "Like if you agree the Packers have the worst cheerleaders in the NFL."

More than 2,000 comments were posted on the picture before it was pulled, many of them calling her names and criticizing her appearance. "You know, no matter how confident a person can seem and appear, words hurt," Collins says.

Two days after it was posted, Collins made a YouTube video calling out her critics and asking for the photo to be removed.

The Green Bay Packers issued a statement calling the online commentary "extremely offensive" and expressed support for Collins and encouraged others to do the same.
