Freezing rain, sleet possible Sunday morning - WKOW 27: Madison, WI Breaking News, Weather and Sports

Freezing rain, sleet possible Sunday morning

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Adams, Crawford, Grant, Juneau and Richland Counties from 3 a.m. until noon Sunday, as there could be a mix of light freezing rain and sleet.

A Freezing Rain Advisory is in effect for south central and southeast Wisconsin from 6 a.m. until noon Sunday for up to a tenth of an inch of ice.

The weather's been quiet so far this weekend, but that will change Sunday morning when a mix of light freezing rain, sleet and rain will be possible, with up to a tenth of an inch of ice.  That icy mix will change over to all rain Sunday afternoon, then to scattered snow showers and flurries Sunday night and Monday.

Sunshine will return for Tuesday and Wednesday, with a little light snow possible both Thursday and Friday.
