MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police are searching for a suspect in a robbery at an east side Subway restaurant on Saturday.
Police say a man wearing a ski mask entered the Subway on Cottage Grove Road around 6:45 p.m. Saturday.
According to the police report, a 26-year-old Subway employee locked herself in a bathroom after the suspect entered and walked behind the counter. Police say a co-worker was already in the restroom and they both stayed put because they believed they were being robbed.
Police say the cash register was gone when they finally came out.
The suspect is described as a six-foot tall, black male. He was last seen wearing all black clothing and a black ski mask.
