
MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison West boys hockey team won its opening regional tournament game beating Monona Grove 3-2. The Silver Eagles got on the board first, in the first period with a goal from Michael Jensen, but West answered with less than a minute to play in that period with a goal from Cole Paskus.
After a scoreless second period, Max Lentz put the Regents up to stay. Madison West advances and will face Verona on Tuesday, Feb. 19.
