MOBILE, AL (WKOW) -- The nightmare is over for the 4,000 passengers and crew members aboard a Carnival Cruise ship, stranded in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico.
Triumph docked in Mobile, AL around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
The ship departed Galveston, TX, Thursday and lost power
Sunday after a fire in the engine room disabled the vessel's propulsion system
and knocked out most of its power.
Carnival brought in dozens of chartered buses after the ship docked, to take passengers to Galveston, Houston or New Orleans.
