
MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison Police Department looks for a suspect after an armed robbery at Rose Cottage Floral.
A lone employee was working late in the flower shop when a male entered the store asking to buy flowers. At the same time, the back door opened and the suspect entered and displayed a handgun.
The employee had a paring knife in her hand at the time and began slashing it at the suspect. The suspect immediately left the flower shop.
Police look for a white, male in his 30's. He was wearing a dark hood with a drawstring.
The incident happened about 8:00 p.m. on Thursday on the 3000 block of Atwood Avenue.
