PARKLAND, FL (WKOW) -- A teenager who was severely hurt at a Wisconsin Dells amusement park received a special gift from actor Charlie Sheen.
Sheen gave $10,000 for a therapy dog for Teagan Marti.
The teenager suffered brain, spine and other serious injuries when a safety net failed to catch her in 2010.
Her mother says she can't believe the kindness coming from a complete stranger.
"Charlie Sheen, what he did, it was just so gracious and kind. I just want to thank him from the bottom of my heart," said Julie Marti.
The Martis say they're planning to name the dog Charlie.
Sheen himself said he found it impossible not to help.
