
MILTON TOWNSHIP (WKOW) -- A residential fire in Milton Township displaces a family.
It happened Friday about 10:15 p.m. on the 11000 block of North Highway 26. When crews arrived there was heavy smoke and flames were visible.
Everyone in the home was able to escape the residence, but several animals were still inside the residence. One family member was treated for minor smoke inhalation, but was released from the scene.
The fire started from an outdoor heater being used for pets, but the fire remains under investigation. The home is a total loss.
