Two Madison men arrested for two home burglaries

MADISON (WKOW) – Madison police arrest two Madison men for two home burglaries Friday night.

Authorities said residents interrupted a burglary on the 500 block of West Mifflin Street around 11:50 p.m.  The two suspects fled the house, but officers apprehended them a short distance away.

Officials said some of the items were recovered.

Police said one of the suspects confessed to a second burglary on the 500 block of W. Doty Street.

Authorities identified the suspects as Kameron N. Powers, 18-year-old male of Madison, and Andre T. Hollingsworth, 23-year-old male of Madison. 

Powers is charged with two counts of burglary, bail jumping and a warrant.  Hollingsworth is charged with two counts of burglary, resisting and a probation hold.
