Janesville Police search for armed robbery suspect

JANESVILLE (WKOW) – Janesville authorities look for armed robbery suspect who robbed U.S. Bank Saturday morning.

Authorities responded to U.S. Bank on the 2700 block of Milton Avenue around 9:5 a.m. The robber demanded money from the clerk and threatened he was armed with a firearm.

Officials said the robber was handed an unverified amount of cash and fled the scene heading southbound on foot.

According to the Janesville Police Department, the suspect is a white male. The man was wearing a black hat, knee length black winter coat with the hood up, a thin grey scarf around his face, dark pants and dark shoes.
