CHICAGO, Illinois (WKOW) - The Badger men's hockey team took to the ice at Soldier Field on Saturday afternoon. Even though the ice has been set for about a month, this was the first time the team was able to check out the outdoor environment. It's all in preparation for Sunday's Hockey City Classic. Wisconsin will play Minnesota at approximately 3:30 on Sunday afternoon. This is the 3rd outdoor hockey game in UW hockey history. Wisconsin beat Ohio State at Lambeau Field in 2006 and beat Michigan at Camp Randall Stadium in 2010.
