Slippery conditions cause 2 separate semi accidents on same stretch of interstate

ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) -- Slippery conditions late Monday night cause two separate accidents on the same stretch of highway.

Wisconsin State Patrol says around 11:00 p.m., a semi went into the ditch on I-39 near Highway 11/Avalon Road. A car then hit the semi. The driver of the car, a woman, was taken to Beloit Memorial Hospital with injuries. The driver of the semi was not hurt.

About half an hour later and only 200 yards away, another semi slid off I-39. The driver was not injured.
