MOUNT CALVARY (WKOW) -- A Fond du Lac County priest and president of Mount Calvary's St. Lawrence Seminary High School has been removed from public ministry.
Allegations of sexual abuse more than 25 years ago in Montana prompted the removal.
Reverend Dennis Druggan had been on administrative leave since July, when the first complaint was filed. The Capuchin Province of St. Joseph says a second complainant later came forward.
Sufficient evidence was found to sustain the allegations, so the order removed Druggan as rector and president, and barred him from public ministry. The order says he'll be encouraged to live a life of prayer and penance in a suitable friary.
The Fond du Lac Reporter says no allegations have surfaced involving his time at the Wisconsin school.
