Packers increase ticket prices for next season

Posted:

GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- If you want to go to a Green Bay Packers game next season, expect to pay a little more for tickets.

The Packers are increasing the prices by either $2 or $5, depending on the seat location in Lambeau Field. According to Packers president Mark Murphy, the increases will keep ticket prices about average for the NFL.

End-zone seats are increasing by $2 to $74. Tickets from the 20-yard line to the end zone are increasing $5 to $85. Seats between the 20-yard lines will also go up $5 to $97. Prices for the new South End seats are $82 and $89.

Murphy says the revenue is important to keep the Packers competitive in the league. Murphy says the team also wants to be fair to visiting teams in terms of shared revenue. One-third of all ticket revenue goes to the visiting team.

Invoices are being sent to season-ticket holders this week.
