
VERONA (WKOW) -- The Verona boys basketball team's season came to an end Tuesday night in the regional quarterfinals with its 76-73 loss. The Wildcats had a 17 point lead in the third quarter, but they allowed Oconomowoc back in it. Tyler Enright hit a half court buzzer beater at the end of the 3rd to cut the lead to 6. Then with 1.8 seconds left, T.J. Schlundt hit the game winning three, as Verona's inbounds play failed. Oconomowoc will be Sun Prairie's opponent in the regional quarterfinals on Friday.
