
VERONA (WKOW) -- The Verona boys hockey team advanced past Madison West in the sectional semifinals with its 5-1 win on Tuesday night. Harry Seid scored the first two goals for Verona in the first period. The Wildcats had a 5-0 lead, before the Regents scored a late goal. The Wildcats advance to face Madison Edgewood, who defeated Middleton in double overtime on Tuesday night 2-1. The two teams will face off on Saturday at the Hartmeyer Ice Arena, with a trip to state on the line.
