NEW YORK (WKOW) -- ABC's Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts returns to the anchor desk this morning, after being off from work while recovering from MDS or myelodysplastic syndrome. MDS is a disease of the blood and bone marrow and was once known as preleukemia.
Robin is doing well following her treatment and recovery process. She has said before that "all will be right with the world" when she resumes her seat at the anchor desk today. Robin is no stranger to having and beating various health problems. Five years ago, Robin was diagnosed with breast cancer and survived it.
Good Morning America airs on WKOW starting at 7a.m. Several stars, fans, and fellow journalists have sent in well wishes and congratulations to Robin on her return. You can follow Robin's journey by clicking here.
