MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police investigate another strong-arm robbery and say the latest incident may be related to others recently.
Police say Tuesday night around 10:45 a 20-year-old woman was walking in the 10 block of North Brooks when a vehicle slowly drove by her. A suspect approached her and asked her for the date and time. After giving the suspect that information, the woman continued walking, then heard someone running behind her and reaching into her pockets.
Police say the victim briefly struggled with the first suspect while the second suspect threw her to the ground and took her cell phone. Both suspects were last seen running from the area.
The woman was not hurt.
Police say this mugging could be related to three muggings in downtown Madison Monday night. They're looking for three suspects and the vehicle related to the incidents.
