Dane County inmate declared AWOL

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Dane County Sheriff's Department is looking for an inmate declared AWOL.

Officers say 24-year-old Paul Richardson of Madison was released from the Public Safety Building at 9:45 a.m. Friday for a medical appointment. He was scheduled to return at 12:00 p.m., but he did not.

Richardson is serving a 12-month sentence for knowingly fleeing an officer, resisting/obstructing an officer and battery.

Anyone with information about where Richardson is should call 911.
