JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- A 7-year-old suffers minor injuries after a car crash.
The Janesville Police Department received a complaint of an intoxicated man at Riders Inn with a 7-year-old child. Officers responded and did not find him. A short time later, officers were given information about an intoxicated driver matching the description of the man who was at Riders Inn.
Officers were called to an injury accident at the intersection of North Pine Street and Linden Avenue on Friday.
At the accident scene, police identified the adult driver as Casey Truman. The 7-year-old was in the car with him. Truman was the same person from Riders Inn.
The 7-year-old suffered minor injuries from the accident and was taken to a local hospital and released to a responsible adult.
Truman is currently being held at the Rock County Jail on a series of charges, including OWI causing injury to a passenger under 16 years old.
