MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison woman was convicted of reckless homicide on Friday for the 2011 death of her 3-year-old son at their South Side apartment.
According to the Wisconsin State Journal, a jury found Maria Castillo-Dominguez guilty for throwing her son into a wall after he disobeyed her.
The Wisconsin State Journal reports, bail for Castillo-Dominguez was revoked and she faces up to a combined 60 years of prison and extended supervision.
Castillo-Dominguez testified in her own defense for at least five hours on Thursday and Friday. She says she did not know what happened to her son, only that he suddenly became sick.
