BRUSSELS, WI (WKOW) -- The Door County Sheriff's Office has identified the teenager killed when his snowmobile collided with a truck on Friday.
Door County Sheriff Terry Vogel says the young victim was 13-year-old Brett Buhr, of Brussels.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. Friday in Brussels, and Buhr later died at a Green Bay hospital.
Authorities say the teen was on a designated snowmobile trail when he stopped before crossing the road, and that when he tried to cross he collided with a truck driven by a 47-year-old man.
The driver of the truck, also from the Brussels area, was not hurt.
Sheriff Vogel says he plans to release more information about what happened on Monday.
