Posted:

MADISON (WKOW) -- Deer hunting season is a ways off. However, state wildlife officials are looking to improve upon deer hunting in the Badger State.

Officials will kick off a series of public meetings next month on how to best implement a researcher's recommendations to improve deer hunting in Wisconsin. Natural Resources officials plan to hold more than a half-dozen meetings around the state to get input on the proposal.
