Wrong way driver charged with felony

MADISON (WKOW) -- A wrong way driver was charged with felony intoxicated use of a vehicle causing harm, after authorities said she smashed into several cars in Green and Dane counties last October.

A criminal complaint states 21-year old Danielle Kraus of La Crosse had morphine in her system at the time of the crashes.

Authorities said a woman broke her leg, when her car was hit was by Kraus' car in Dane County.

Earlier that day, Authorities said Kraus' car hit a car with a woman and small child inside, but they were not hurt seriously.

Kraus is free on her signature.
