Aldo Leopold celebrated this weekend

MADISON (WKOW) -- The University of Wisconsin-Madison is celebrating conservationist Aldo Leopold this weekend.

The University's Arboretum hosted a daylong reading of Leopold's "A Sand Count Almanac" Saturday. There also readings of his conservation philosophies.

Sunday, there will be a "Walk with Leopold" and the Arboretum, where he served at the facility's first research director. For more information on the activities, click here.
