
MADISON (WKOW) -- A woman was taken to the hospital after a pedestrian versus car accident. The woman suffers from non-life threatening injuries.
The Madison Police Department says a woman in her 20's was walking across the street when she was hit. The vehicle had a green light and was going through the intersection of West Johnson and Broom Street.
The Madison Police Department says the female driver of the vehicle was charged with OWI. She is in her 40's. The pedestrian was cited for "sudden pedestrian movement."

It happened about 1:45 a.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Johnson and Broom Street. The victim is in her early 20's.
Injuries are not known at this time. Dane County Communications reports injuries are severe, while the Madison Police Department says they're none life threatening.
