
MADISON (WKOW) -- The winter storm that rolled through dropped anywhere from six to almost 10 inches of snow around the Madison area.
Here are a few totals as of 10 p.m. Tuesday night:
It will still take plow crews most of the night to clear the snow from the roads, so give yourself extra time to drive to work Wednesday morning.

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Winter Storm Warning continues for most counties in southern Wisconsin until 9 p.m. Tuesday night.
Snow will diminish as the night goes on. Accumulations are expected to be between six and 10 inches in some areas by mid to late evening.

MADISON (WKOW) -- A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for southern Wisconsin as meteorologists expect significant snowfall starting Monday night and continuing into Tuesday.
27 Storm Track meteorologists say widespread moderate snowfall, about six to nine inches, is expected with some locations seeing heavy accumulations, about 10 to 12 inches.
Meteorologists say a warm front passing through Monday will give us our first round of light snow with very minor accumulations. The heaviest snowfall will arrive after midnight. Winds will become breezy overnight with gusts near 30 miles per hour Tuesday.
Forecasters warn driving conditions will deteriorate rapidly overnight and Tuesday morning's commute will be severely impacted by the storm.
