MADISON (WKOW) -- A 27-year-old pizza delivery driver was robbed early Saturday morning.
Madison police had caught the thief and his three accomplices, after receiving a good description of the getaway vehicle.
Police say the four teens eating the stolen pizzas while sitting inside a fogged-up car on the side of Bryn Wood Drive.
One suspect told police: "I thought stealing a bunch of pizzas would be a good idea," stating it would be a "good story to tell my kids someday."
The delivery driver had delivered more than $75 worth of food to two teens who were standing outside a home in the 1600 block of Grafton Road.
One teen took the boxes while another fumbled through his wallet, acting as though payment was forthcoming. However, both then turned and dashed, jumping into a car containing the other 2 suspects.
The boys, three of them 16-years-old and one 17-year-old, were all cited for theft. The younger three also received curfew violation citations.
