
JANESVILLE (WKOW) – Janesville Police arrest a man for his fifth OWI after responding to a disturbance at a store Monday night.
Janesville Police Officers responded to a store called It's A Keeper Bait and Tackle on the 800 block of S. Washington Street for a disturbance. A female suspect had created a disturbance and then got into a black Dodge truck with a Janesville man.
Officer Hageman initiated a traffic stop at S Washington Street and Rockport Road. Authorities say the truck pulled over and the driver displayed signs of intoxication.
Officials identified the driver as 51-year-old Jan R. Kustow of Janesville. He admitted to consuming intoxicants. The officer performed a field sobriety test and it indicated the driver was impaired.
Authorities arrested the driver and transported to the Rock County Jail for operating while under the influence, fifth offense, and operating while revoked.
