MADISON (WKOW) -- In an on-going effort to crackdown on Internet prostitution the Madison Police Department says a sting at a north side hotel resulted in the arrests of four women.
It targets women who use sites like backpage.com to arrange meetings with men at various hotels. The operation was coordinated by the North District's Community police team.
Each of the four women arrested was cited for Internet solicitation of prostitutes and unlawful trespass.
