Family grateful for support after son's death in pit bull attack

TOWN OF WALWORTH (WKOW) -- The father of the 14-month-old boy who died Wednesday in a pit bull attack says he's grateful for the support people have shown him.

The father of Daxton Borchardt posted the message on his Facebook page.

The boy was at the home of his babysitter Wednesday when both were attacked by the sitter's two pit bulls. He later died at the hospital.

Investigators haven't said whether there will be criminal charges.
