MADISON, WI (WKOW) -- The Lodi Blue Devils lost to Aquinas in the Division Three State Boys Basketball Championship game Saturday, 53-48.
This was Lodi's first time ever playing in the state title game.
At the start of the fourth period, the Blugolds' Michael Conway drove the lane for a layup, putting Aquinas up by 19 points.
But Lodi's Kris Seffrood knocked down back to back three pointers to bring the Blue Devils within three with just over two minutes left to play.
Free throws would keep the Blugolds in the lead, though. Aquinas won its second state title in three years.
