MADISON (WKOW) -- Wisconsinites tend to pay what they're supposed to for things like gas and groceries, according to the state Department of Agriculture, trade and Consumer Protection(DATCAP).
In 2012, DATCAP says it conducted almost 230,000 inspections of gas pumps, price scanners, retail scales and package weights.
The inspections from last year show nearly 98% of gas pumps were accurate, 97.5% of price scanners were accurate and 96% of retail scales were accurate.
