
Victor Benitez, 19MADISON (WKOW) -- A verdict has been reached in the trial for a man accused of killing four people in a car crash.
According to 27 News reporter Jennifer Kliese, the jury found Victor Benitez guilty of eight homicide charges, obstructing an officer, and driving without a license. He was found not guilty of failure to fulfill legal obligations in a crash.
The 19-year-old faced 17 counts in all. His trial began Monday. Police say Benitez was driving last February when the vehicle rolled over and four passengers were killed.

MADISON (WKOW) -- The trial continues Monday morning in Dane County for the man accused of killing four people.
Victor Benitez, 19, is charged with 17 counts including Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle. According to court records, the state rested in its case against Benitez Friday and the trial will continue Monday at 8:00 a.m.
Police say Benitez was driving with four other people in a vehicle last February when the vehicle rolled over. The four passengers were all killed.
